first of all literally nobody is fucking with cis people on even remotely the same scale they are fucking with trans people, so
normally “they arent serious” is not an argument i would evoke but if you seriously think this person is serious you havent been paying ANY ATTENTION AT ALL to what the trans community deals with also good job expressing your INFORMED OPINION with an internet meme captain nerd
find me an article where several trans people beat a cis person to death for being cis, i fucking dare you, you won’t find it because IT DOESNT EXIST
“AND YOU WONDER WHY NO ONE TAKES YOU SERIOUSLY.”
i like how you had to include an asterix for this because it is pretty fucking obvious you meant “trans people” you sheltered huffing nerd bigot
“I’m a critic of radicalized western feminism”
HEY, GUESS WHAT, IF YOU WERE A CRITIC OF RADICALIZED WESTERN FEMINISM YOU WOULDN’T BE GIVING THIS PERSON SHIT SINCE WESTERN FEMINISM DENIES THEM THEIR RIGHT TO EXIST
OHHHHHH!!

Lol, the original ALL CAPS message was a direct aim at the OP’s character, not the fact that they identify as trans. When I said that, I was browsing through the criticism and said it based on that observation.
As for everything else, you’re right. You obviously wouldn’t have an instance where a group of trans people beat down a cis-gendered person. But you ARE going to have a myriad of instances where both groups are harassed in reality. For example, lets think of all of the instances where straight, gay, bi AND trans women are beaten up for their sexuality? How about the gay, bi and trans men that are beaten up for theirs? Someone being beaten up and harassed isn’t exclusive to someone that’s trans, sorry to tell you.
It’s silly that we have to make this an argument of “The Oppression Olympics” because it’s blatantly obvious that the LGBT community endures an incredible amount of shit because people out there won’t accept them as human beings because they fear them and/or weren’t raised to include them. That’s not even what I’m arguing here.
I’m arguing that the OP, as a person - is a hypocrite because you can’t expect equality and only narrow it to your perspective because you feel as if its justified. Equality means equal rights for all - whether someone is cis, trans or anything else that they choose to identify themselves with.

FYI, the person in this photograph has stated in a blog post that the tattoo is completely serious.

This is honestly making me furious.
It’s making me furious since a good friend of mine is ftm and I’ve been there, and will be there, during his transition. I can imagine how he’d react to OPs statement and tattoo (probably taking the monitor and throwing it out the window), so I’m reluctant to just send him the link and let him comment for I don’t want to ruin his day.
The trans-community, as it is called, includes genderqueers, transvestites, transgenders/transsexuals.
So, next to the fact that answering oppression with further oppression or violence with violence, which is absolutely idiotic in this case, and generalizing a great majority of people, something very important is forgotten here-
Transsexuals.
People that feel like they don’t belong to the sex they have been born in and whose gender doesn’t fit that sex. Those people who search to find peace by transitioning, passing as the sex their gender is, those people who want to go through surgery to have it be in harmony. Here is where said friend also comes to play. He told me that if there was a pill which would magically turn him into a cis-man, he’d more than happily take it. It would be the greatest thing for him. He doesn’t want to be trans. He’d much rather have been born a cis-man. The situation he is in is, in his eyes, terrible- it brought him years of depression, self-loathing and the like, which is like this for a lot of transsexuals. It’s no choice, but what OP writes almost makes it seem like one. It effectively even, excuse the word, erases the suffering and literal pain of those people by saying that it’s great that they are in a state they don’t want to be in and what they’d rather be is something terrible and they should die if they were the way they wanted.
It is, naturally, different for genderqueers and the like who are fluid in their perception of their gender and the like, but those, again, aren’t the majority and can’t force everyone else to relate to their certain view of themselves. It is nothing wrong to be in peace with your sex, as the broad majority of people is- Discrimination against those who aren’t is. But discrimination always is.
Therefore, it is naturally wrong to answer discrimination with discrimination, hatred with hatred, for if the oppressed group would be the majority it would then be exactly the same as it has been before, only the other way round.
